The ferris wheel at the Lane County Fair allowed riders to sit around the edge of a circular platform. Just in front of the ferris wheel was a "Prize Every Time" booth.

A kid's ride was this Flying Jet. The cars held two children each and allowed the driver to move the car up and down, while the child in the rear worked the pretend gun.

Another children's ride was this "Bear Affair" ride. The kids rode in the belly of the bear and could use a wheel to rotate the bear as it went round and round a center common to the other three bears.

A small roller coaster called the "Mad Mouse" ride sped behind food stalls that littered the ride area. As roller coasters went, this one appeared pretty tame.

A carasoul was located in one corner of the ride area. It featured American flags on top of it.

A Zipper ride was between bumper scooters and a haunted house. One man checked for messages near a white line.

Gathered together near one end of the carnival area were the big rides. Here was the Kamikaze Ride where two multi-passenger cars rotated vertically around a common center.

Here, cars for two rotated around a pivot with two other cars. And then those pivots rotated horizontally around a common center and articulated arms raised and lowered them as they spun.
