Three Spikes
This plant spent its first two years in a small pot next to the entry path to our home. In that place it only ever had a single spike. It was moved from its small pot to the upper level of our Monster raised garden bed in the front yard. This year it developed three flower spikes.

Tallest Of The Three
A closer view of the tallest of the three flowering spikes. Because it received more sunlight in its higher position, it displayed more blooms than did the lower spike.
