 The lawn upon which lawn bowling happened. This half of the lawn was viewed with the clubhouse in the background. Balls were bowled toward the clubhouse.

 The other end of the lawn lay just over a low metal fence. Benches lined this end of the lawn. Bowlers would roll their balls from this end of the lawn. Unfortunately, no lawn bowling was happening at this time of the day.
