![]() Folks entered a tunnel on the other side of the lake. That tunnel led to the rest of Golden Gate Park.

![]() The lake was shallow and the water clear. That afternoon, no fish were visible, but a lone rock rose from the bed.

![]() Beyond the lake a temporary fence blocked the hillside which was undergoing repair. The orange fencing was reflected on the surface of the lake.

![]() The lone duck was a male mallard who floated on water that reflected blue sky.

![]() The tunnel on the other side of the lake was not really a tunnel. Technically, it was called Alvord Bridge and supported the roadway atop it. The tunnel was the void below the bridge.

![]() The lake with a lawn beyond, was decorated with purple flowers. Beyond the lawn was the eastern entrance to Golden Gate Park. In the distance, a dog stood on the lawn and waited for its human friend to join it.
