Two Y Letters
A thick branch had fallen off a tree next to the sidewalk leading to the Legion Of Honor. The fallen tree limb formed two of the letter Y.

Hot Dog Roaster
An extendable hot dog roaster and marshmallow toaster formed the letter Y while resting on an oil spattered plate alongside a fork.

Found Branch

A barge was tied up next to Pier 14 in San Francisco, That rope, when cut off by the camera frame, formed the letter Y.

Forked tree
Sunlight highlighted the fork of a tree in the woods. It was unusual for a tree to form such a perfect Y.

Urban tree
One of the trees planted by the urban forest was a handy place to lean a traffic control sign. The upper part the tree was cut off by the camera, thereby forming a Y.

A leaning tree
Fortunately for the alphabet, many trees fork into a Y shape while growing. Winter was the best time to view this, because the tree was devoid of leaves.
