A sidewalk tile design was created by Richard Irvine and Rafael Perea de la Cabada. It added art to the sidewalk that was walked over without notice by many pedestrians. Those few who noticed were captivated and paused to admire it.

The tile-work's design was bordered with a thin metal strip. That way, square tiles could be made to form smooth, delicate curves.

Most of the design was made up of multi-colored tiles in a confetti design. Other curves were either solid brown or solid blue. Notice that inside the design were sections of plain sidewalk.
