Ruiz designed the mural during the group's Summer Term Open Studio classes. Sterling Israel, program coordinator, oversaw the coordination of volunteer artists, collaborated with volunteers and class participants on the design, and did the outline work so volunteers could come by to add color and details.[from OSLP facebook page]

A whimsical train wrapped itself around the concrete of a bicycle parking and automobile parking area. When casuallyviewed from the street, only the head of the train was visible, but by walking around the concrete, the entiretrain quickly came into view.
