 This sculpture was named as a tribute to the artist's dog, Old Buddy (For Rosco). What better place for an old dog than San Francisco's Crissy Field.

 The unusual aspect of this sculpture by Mark di Suvero is that it is made of two differently painted sections of steel I-beams.

 A horizontal foot on the silver end kept that side from falling over.

 A round loop appeared to be the only thing holding the upper beam in place.

 There were loops at the red end too, which echoed the silver loop at the other end.

 The red feet were welded to metal plates set in the ground. On those plates were the words, "Do Not Climb On Sculpture."

 The loop at the silver end was bolted to the vertical and diagonal legs, and then the horizontal bar was bolted to the loop.
