The metal sculpture called Mother Peace rested on temporary exhibit in Crissy Field. A dog walking away and people laying on the ground gave a sense of scale to the piece.

A peace symbol was cut into the swinging arm of the sculpture. The way the arm jutted forward, suggested that this sculpture resemble a battering ram.

A close shot showing how the cables were attached to the metal. A loop was formed in the cable end using a swage. That loop was then run around the horizontal pin of a U-clamp.

The upper L piece of the sculpture was cabled too. The idea was that these metal bars would move in a high enough wind.
