Ticket Machine
Although all rides were free on that day (September 17th 2017), thereafter all but seniors must buy a ticket before boarding. You cannot buy tickets on the bus.

Bus Only Lane
The EMX bus travels in a "Bus Only" lane. But note that cars making a right turn may also travel in that lane for up to one block. The bus lane here is asphalt. Elsewhere on the line the bus lane is concrete.

Bus Stop or Station
One the EMX line LTD calls bus stops bus stations. As you can see here, however, the EMX bus station is no more than a fancy bus stop.

A Regular Bus
A regular bus on its way to stop at a bus stop just a few steps beyond the EMX bus station (stop). Notice that regular buses can only carry bicycles on the front (two maximum).

Bus Seating
Bus seating was at multiple levels. The floor-level seats were reserved for the elderly and disabled. The ride was surprisingly bumpy.

Bicycles On Board
Bicycles could be rolled right onto the EMX bus (instead of mounted outside on the front). A bike rack could, in theory, hold up to six bicycles.
