2020 Monster, A Raised Garden, As A Collection Of Plants, Eugene, Oregon

![]() Two daylily plants in their second year began to bloom in late spring and continued to bloom through July and hopefully into August. They created a dramatic counterpoint to to the freshly planted area in the raised section behind.

![]() Hens and chicks were planted for the first time this year. The formed an arc at the front of the second level of the monster. One of them really took off and flowered already in its first year.

![]() Two Agastache plants, in their second year, bloomed in bright orange and purple at the very front of the monster on its lower of two levels.

![]() Our newest plant, in its first year, was just a stick with leaves. It began to flower with a gorgeous pink explosion of soft tiny blooms. Next year, it will, we hope, become a bush.
