The figure eight raised garden bed had been filled with cardboard, compost, and hemlock bark over the winter. The filling had become good dirt and the first two plants had been planted in it. To the left of the image was a path for walking behind the raised garden bed.

A bare root for Big Blue Sea Holly was planted in the narrow middle of the "Figure Eight" raised garden bed.

A multi colored ornamental grass had been planted in one of the wide ends of the "Figure Eight" raised garden bed.
