The Hacienda, At Dancing Deer Farm

![]() The front gate of the Hacienda was through a fence that separated the dirt parking area from the Hacienda proper. The only way into or out of the property was by car because there was no nearby public transportation.

![]() A well provisioned kitchen had all the equipment needed to prepare food for large groups. A gas range, a four-slice toaster, and (barely seen to the left) an upright refrigerator next to an upright freezer.

![]() Some rooms had three beds, some had two beds, and a few had single beds. All were supplied with a single bath towel and two sheets not yet put on the beds. Covering the bed with sheets was difficult because neither sheet was fitted.
