The Front Entrance To The Hotel
Grazyna Szawlowski (her back to the camera) chatted with Madeleine Lemire (behind the post) on the front porch of the hotel. The entrance was at the very end of the road that lead up from the beach. The beach was a short 10 minute stroll away.

The Second Floor Balcony
The second floor balcony of the hotel, with its uncomfortable, sharply leaning chairs. The chairs provide a nice look but were not practical. At the far end of the balcony was a spiral staircase to the third floor, and access to the grand staircase down to the yard.

The grand staircase was outdoors and led down from the 2nd floor to the yard/parking lot. The staircase was slippery when it rained.

The second and third floors of the hotel overlooked the town and beach. From these balconies one could see rainbows, thunder clouds, dramatic sunsets, and rain.

The Front Gate
The front gate was closed, but when open provided automobile and van access to the interior yard. The lower floor and second floor were visible through the gate, with the grand staircase just to the inside right.
