A once-white jug stood on a porch in front of a white wall. The jug could use a fresh coat of paint, the wall less so.

A not so little brown jug also stood on that same porch. Clearly this jug had seen better days.

A drinking glass carved from a gourd rested in a carved wooden base. The technique used to carve the gourd was to make the carving in it while still green. After the gourd dried out, the carving remained behind.

An unfinished straw hat was hung on the wall over the eating area. Purple straws were woven through it to lend it a feeling of festivity.

A work of art hung from one of the poles surrounding the eating area. A mix of leather, buttons, and animal hairs.

A jug with a happy face on it stood in one corner of the eating area. Atop it was a shallow bowl exibiting localally grown rice.
