A parrot, whose tail could spin in the wind, held a margarita. Below the parrot was a sign that read, "It's 5 o'clock somewhere!"

Because the Oregon coast is at risk of a subduction earthquake, signs such as this are common. The top sign marked a, "Tsunami Hazard Zone, in case of earthquake go to high ground or inland." The Middle sign said, "Tsunami Evacuation Route." The bottom sign was an arrow pointing up (south).

An almost totally wooden floating dock had a sign that read, "Warning, No fire works allowed on docks, Thank you."

The street sign for "Clearlake Ave." lost in the weeds.

A "Dead End" sign faced the neighborhood and was a warning to cars going up the hill. The back of a Stop sign was behind the dead end. That stop sign faced the cars coming down the hill.

A "Slow" sign was on the side of a kid shaped sign next to the road.

A fish was leaned against a wall in front of a store. Words on the fish said, "Fishing Licenses Sold Here." Unfortunately the arrow indicated that the licenses were sold in the mouth of the fish.

A "Tsunami Evacuation Map" was posted at the "East Launch Pay Station" and showed with arrows the quickest routes to safety.

A sign, between the harbor and a road next to the harbor, was labeled, "Boat Wash."

A sign on the front of a plastic trash can read, "Dog Waste Only."

A fancy, artistic bench was erected next to the road and facing the harbor. The bench was labeled, "Murphy's Bench."

A man dressed in a yellow rain slicker was chained to the asphalt in front of a store that advertised, "Grand Opening."
