Annie Street, -- A Market Street Mini-Park
|
An Odd Park Fit For Pigeons
Just before Annie Street ended, a small park was built to separate that end from Market Street. Unfortunately it was built more as a decorated walk that as an actual park. On this day, the only creatures present were pigeons.

A Designated Smoking Area
Another drawback to this small park was that it was designated as a smoking area. This is contrary to San Francisco law which bans all smoking in parks.

The View Looking Back At Market Street
Here was one of the two planters filled with shrubbery and a single small tree. Beyond it lay Market Street. Behind and unseen was the end of Annie Street (really an alley).

The Other Planter And Trash
Further away from Market Street and closer to the end of Annie Street was the second planter with its shrubbery and only a single anemic tree. Notice that this is the end where trash gathered.

The End Of Annie Street With Park Beyond
The end of Annie Street was marked by a small sign that read, "Skateboard and Bicycle Riding Prohibited."

Jeffrey's Toys Was Next To The Park
Jeffrey's Toys lay on Market Street right next to this small park.
