The "Sleeping Sophie" bench as it appeared from across F Street. It almost looked like a giraffe asleep on a giraffe patterned bench.

The "Sleeping Sophie" bench appeared as if the the body of the giraffe was formed into a box shape. Notice the giraffe's tail on the left end of the bench.

The bench was missing a corner tile on its front facing face. Notice how the design of the tiles almost match that of an actual giraffe's body.

The neck and face of the "Sleeping Sophie" giraffe were three-dimensional which created a very striking work of art as a mosaic bench.

The giraffe's neck curved over the top of the bench, creating a comfortable looking back support.

The top of the giraffe's head was embossed out from the side of the bench. With its eyes closed, it actually did appear to be sleeping.
