A fine view of the city of León, Nicaragua was beheld from high upon a hill. An old fort, called El Fortin internal link, was built by the Samosa Garcia Family and used until the 1970's to imprison and torture rebels. Today it serves as an historic object lesson and a place where tourists can take fantastic, aerial shots of the town.

This sign, on the street leading down to the Museum Of The Revolution, was to warn cars to not sound their horns. Although we saw several signs like this, horns continued to be honked, mostly by taxis.
