One sign featured the image of a burning police car above which were the words, "May 21 1979 San Francisco," a date that referred to the voluntary manslaughter verdict for Dan White which resulted in widespread rioting. Below the image were the words, "It's Right To Rebel."

One of the girls with Cheer San Antonio carried a sign that read simply, "Noise!" Perhaps as instructions to the crowds lining the sidewalks.

A disembodied hand carried a sign that read, "In Loving Memory Of Yurok Brother."

The men of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus carried signs proclaiming, "Harvey Milk 2013, Living The Legacy ."

The California Republic Flag but with a twist, the stripe along the bottom had been changed into a rainbow.

Two guys with Virgin America Airlines carried a sign that looked like the windows of an airliner. The words under their faces (in rapt attention at the scenery below) were "The World Is Your Runway, #VXPRIDE Virgin America."

A picture of a drag queen in a moment of religious devotion, but with a taped mouth and the words, "No H8" on the left cheek. From Wikipeida, "The NOH8 Campaign is a silent protest photo project against California Proposition 8."

Folks with the San Leandro Unified School District carried signs too. One in yellow read:

1-2-3-4
We've Got Gays
But We Need More!

Vulva Girl and Foreskin Man pulled a sign that read:

A Foreskin Contains
75% of Penile Nerves
100% Most Erogenous
20,000 Nerve Endings
15 Square Inches Of Skin
Stop Male Genital Mutilation
