The "Hawaiian Time" restaurant was surrounded by lawn, with painted flowers covering its walls..

The sign over the entrance to the restaurant, read:

Hawaiian Time
Authentic Plate Lunch

The flowers, decorating the outside walls of the restaurant, each had a guitar stem growing from the center.

A white ship's anchor was partly buried in the lawn. Most wires were beyond the anchor, except for one wire that ran under one of the anchor's arms.

More flowers were painted on the right side of the entrance.

Even more flowers were painted on the side of the restaurant that faced West 11th Avenue.
