A dog waited on the sidewalk outside a store. Clearly, either a well trained dog, or a fake one.

The statue was composed of the dog and the dog bowl. The chair had been set there but was not part of the exhibit.

The bronze dog named Cassie waited forever. The plaque was on the sidewalk just behind the dog. The dog bowl caught rain water and was there to provide actual passing dogs with a drink.

The head of the dog named Cassie was alert. Her eyes were fixed on the doorway to the store as if waiting for someone to emerge.

The rump and tail of the dog named Cassie. The tail betrayed the public, because no matter how kindly one petted the dog, its tail would never wag.
