Tossed In Bay
Some wag had tossed one of the new electric scooters into the bay next to the Embarcadero. This illustates one of the problems with which the city must contend. Scooters are left in all kinds of bad places, such as blocking a sidewalk or the entry to a store.

Instructions
Instructions were printed on the inside face of the steering column. It was a, "Lime-S," which you needed to "Park properly (ie. by the curbside)" and "DO NOT Block sidewalk or traffic," and must be "18+ years old to ride for safety."

One had to use an appropriate ap to scan the QR code on top of the steering column to unlock the scooter for riding.

Man With Phone
A man looked at his phone while bent over one of three scooters parked outside the Greyhound Bus office. If he were to walk off, these scooters would partly block the sidewalk.
