A log had been laid down between three picnic tables. The log had slots cut into it to hold bicycles upright when parked. Rings in the log enabled the bicycle rider to lock his or her bike to the log. Conversion of a log into a bicycle rack was a good way to keep the rack as naturally scenic as the surrounding forest.
