New Buoys Waited Ashore
New buoys waited on shore for deployment. The canal was being widened and deepened for the post-panamax ships, and as that work completed, new buoys were deployed.

Sea Lions Napped On Buoy Number 2
While on the Whale Watching Cruise out of Monterey Bay, we passed this buoy with several seal lions napping on it.

Swimming Limit Buoy At Low Tide
The outer swimming limit of the beach at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland, California was marked with a buoy. But at this time the tide was out, so the buoy rested on sand.

A navigation buoy found in the middle of San Francisco Bay. It marked part of the shipping channel from the Golden Gate under the Bay Bridge and into Oakland.
