The path through the garden ended at a plastic covered shape that would become a future pond and stream. Next to that stream was a raised garden bed we called the, "Mini-Beast." It was filled with old chunks of grass and dirt and covered with cardboard, compost, and mulch. It will remain sans plants until next year. This was to give it time for winter rain to help enrich the underlying dirt.
