Terry And Debi In The Forest
Terry and Debi took a walk that went up a steep rocky hill and into the edge of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The were barely visible at the top of the hill. Debi to the left and Terry to the right, both waved to the camera.

A Campsite In The Forest
A campsite inside the forest featured a concrete picnic table and a fire pit. This particular campsite was a walk-in camp, not a drive in one.

Forest Surrounded Shasta Lake
The forest surrounded Shasta Lake. Unfortunately, late in the season, the level of the lake was down, and access to it required a long hike downhill and back up.

Forest Opened Into A Meadow
Here the forest opened into a meadow. This effect was only evident because the level of the lake was so low. A full lake would have changed this meadow into deep water.
