|
Two Rock Cairn
Two small rock cairn had been built alongside the river. Nothing dramatic like cairn found elsewhere, but pretty nonetheless.

Fully Submerged Rocks
Because this was a creek made up of rocks, it makes sense that some of the rocks would be fully submerged.

Another Rock Cairn
A ways further along the shore was another rock cairn. This one was more ambitious than the other two, but was still on the small side.

Plants Grew In Cracks
Plants grew in the cracks of some boulders. Over eons those starter grasses would transform boulders into rock, and those rocks into sand, and that sand into soil.

Moss Covered Rocks
Moss covered the rocks nearest the forest. From this distance it looked like just moss, but up close was a mixture of lichen and moss.
