The Train Rumbled In
The train came in to the station sounding a whistle. It emerged from the shade of mature old trees and into the sunlight of the station.

Engine No. 9
Engine no. 9 came to a stop in front of the station. The engine was a fine replica of an old steam engine, but one that did not run on steam.

The Pixie Woods Railroad Station
The Pixie Woods Railroad, Pitts Station was the only station on the line. Convenient benches enabled weary travelers to sit while waiting for the next train to arrive.

A Passenger Car
One of two passenger cars. Each car was named after a person or persons. This car, for example, was named, "Baby Richard and Little Jimmy Blum."

Fake Coal Car
A fake coal car was hooked up directly behind the engine. It had a brass plaque on its side that said, "Pixiewoods R.R."

The Train Departed
The train departed the station, passed over the rainbow bridge and disappeared as it passed the Indian village with tepees.

Two children stood by the fence, watched the train engine, and waited for the next train trip to start.
