A Fountain
A fountain stood in the center of the courtyard. In the center of the fountain was a modern sculpture that lacked any sign to identify the artist.

The Statue

Coins
Coins littered the floor of the fountain, each representing a wish made. If only those coins could speak.

Initials HB
The initials HB were cast into the base of the sculpture, but sadly they were not specific enough to find the artist's name. Janean Sat, 06 May 2023 08:50:19 You're not from around here :) Harold Balazs (pronounced "Blaze") was a giant in the Inland Northwest art world. His distinct sculptural style is all over Spokane. This was one tribute to him on his death: Cheers and thank you for the smile!

Bronze Against Brick
The bronze edge of the statue created a dramatic contrast to the white brick and metal seating beyond it.

Muscular Pi
The top of the statue resembled a muscular version of the Greek letter Pi.
