Several art paintings were displayed on the wall of the new hotel that forms the back of the new 5th Street Market Extension. A few of the paintings were signed, and a few were anonymous.

Abstract shapes were painted by J Andrews. The shapes appeared to be on the surface of a planet orbiting close to a cooling sun.

A woman with a sun blaze head was surrounded by several symbolic items. A flower rained a star. A key by a window viewed clouds. The woman wore two differently colored shoes.

A butterfly floated over an abstract background. Words said, "We have got to get ourselves back to the garden."

An unsigned portrait of a black woman with red hair was partly hidden behind clouds. She was surrounded by Sunflowers.

Pale white shapes floated over a poorly signed abstract painting. The white shapes were fish and lily pads. The abstract background resembled a mixture of land and water.
