One of the several entry paths into the new park caused one to walk directly towards the Golden Gate Bridge. To the left of this shot was a glass enclosed and roof protected picnic area with tables and chairs.

Brand new plants were planted in a gravel garden beside the path. A few of the plants were in bloom.

A row of picnic tables were arranged in a row. One of the two benches at each table was shorter than the other. Its shortness allowed room to park a wheel chair.

One of several drinking fountains available in the park had two heights. The lower drinking fountain was for kids, the taller one for adults. A third fountain allowed visitors to fill water bottles.

Four crazy red chairs waited for the careless visitor. Each was shaped to wobble anyone brave enough to sit.

Three wooden benches faced a wide place on the path and allowed a fine view of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge.

The intersection of four paths, with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, allowed many choices for one's route through the park.

Cars exited one tunnel and were about to pass through another tunnel under the Tunnel Tops Park.

One of the artistic benches was long and ready to seat several visitors.

The other end of the Tunnel Tops Park provided a view of cars leaving the city and about to enter the tunnel below. The Palace Of Fine Arts rotunda was visible in the background.

A long stairway ran down the hill to the children's play area. If one wanted to avoid stairs, a long descending path was also available.
