Beginning
The beginning of the trails into and through Glen Canyon Park was narrowed by wooden posts. A small sign prohibited bicycles on the path. Another warned travelers to the possible presence of coyotes.

Occasional tree trunks or branches intruded onto the path and had to be stepped around, over, or under.

A Fork
A fork in the trail presented a choice. Turn right and ascend stairs up to Diamond Heights, or veer left and continue through to the end of the park
