This is how the entry path appeared from the end of Corwin Street. If you had visited Seward Park then Corwin Gardens first, this is how you would most naturally enter to Kite Hill.

Because this is open space rather than a park, the paths are dirt and not ADA compliant. That day followed heavy rain, so the paths were muddy in places. Note that the grass in green only in winter (the rainy season) and is brown for the rest of the year.

The view downtown was spectacular

Note that Sutro is actually two hills, so the neighborhoods surrounding it are called the Twin Peaks area.

Wildflowers grew there

The area to the north is known as Upper Market.
