A sign posted near the current ferry terminal showed what the Sausalito Rail Hub used to look like back when passenger trains ran all the way down into Sausalito.

Origin Of Richardson Bay
A plaque posted on a stone near the ferry terminal described "William A. Richardson." He was the founder of Sausalito. Richardson Bay was named after him.
