Fish Hopper Restaurant
The Fish Hopper restaurant specialized in seafood and steaks. Its pilings marked the southern boundary of the beach.

A Mural
A mural part way down the beach toward the water, but which faced the street. It was based upon an Archival Photo (circa 1890) of a Chinese Fishing Village. The Artists were Arthur Simons, Jerry Boyajian, and Marie Gilmore

Old Wall
Further inland, an old wall marked the northern boundary of the beach. There were signs that high tide could cover the whole beach.

In the middle of the beach was a stairway that provided access between two buildings.

A Ghiradelli Chocolate Shop at 668 Cannery Row had outside seating that overlooked the beach.

Storm Drain
A storm drain emptied through rocks and down to the beach. Mid-rainy season showed a trickle following the latest mild storm.

Beach Looking North
