The blue exterior of the aquarium showed the name, "Aquarium Of The Pacific," and the aquarium's logo (an abstract bird with waves overhead). Poles were there to form a maze, but too few people bought tickets that day to make a maze useful.

The doors that led into the aquarium had the words "Jellies" on it, and the California, U.S.A. and Long Beach flags inside near the roof.

The aquarium only had a single ticket sales window open that morning.

Just inside the entry was a comfortable alcove with sofas and an arched tank of fish and coral to observe.

A large blue replica of a humpback whale was suspended over the main entry hall.

The gift shop was called the, "Pacific Collection." It was open and located just off the main entry hall.

Just to the left of the entry doors was the "Information & Membership" counter.

The snack bar was located underneath the large blue whale in the main entry hall. At the left edge of the shot is one of several tables and chairs for seating.
