Clock On One Of The Towers

A clock on one of the church towers told the wrong time. This was either an innocent mistake or an attempt to create guilt by making everyone always late for church.

The inside of the Iglesia San Pedro as seen from just inside its front doors. The only skylight was at the far end. The only light for the pews was from the open side and front doors.

Modest Stained Glass Window

One of the few stained glass windows in the church was to the left of the front door. It featured a simple cross in a field of rectangular colored shapes.

Portraits decorated the tops of columns behind the nave. To the left was a portrait of Sanctus Joannes (Saint Joan) and to the right a portrait of Sanctus Matthews (Saint Matthews).

A Mural In The Dome

A mural inside the dome featured war ships and the dead lying on shore. One of the ships was labeled "Comunismo" (for Communism), and the man's sword was labeled "Masoneria" for Free Masonry.
