Directing, As A Dramatic Vocation

Harvey Berman directs an actress
William Carter, November 2006 Harvey Corman was producing low budget, locally made films and "four-walling" them in the communities where they were made. When he came to the Concord area he hired Berman to direct The Wild Ride . All the local people involved in the production, including Harvey Berman, were to be given a percentage of the gross. Corman then sold the films to his brother, at a loss. Berman hired Melvin Belli and sued Corman. I got from Berman that Belli was more theater than substance, so the suit never paid off.
