A G Atop Ghirardelli Square
A weathervane that was formed by an arrow whose tail was a flag with the G of Ghirardelli Square cut into it. Below that arrow were the usual directional compass points.

A Whale Flew Above Perched Gulls
Atop a restaurant in Monterey, California's wharf was a whale weathervane. That whale flew over gulls perched on the roof below it.

A rooster atop an old barn was used as a weathervane. The barn was found just off the road while driving Highway 101 in California.
