The dining room table was covered with a cotton table cloth and each setting was covered with a place mat. Silverware, napkins, and serving utensils stood by. A turkey formed the centerpiece. Just beyond the turkey and to the right was a plate of a vegetarian turkey loaf.

The table was well covered with food, gravy, butter, and salt-and-pepper shakers.
