The Banner Was Carried By Two Boys
The banner for Buena Vista/Horace Mann school was carried by two boys, and was printed in Spanish. That seemed natural because Buena Vista/Horace Mann was a Spanish Immersion K-8 School.

Drum Corps Marched Next To Float
The drum corps for the Buena Vista/Horace Mann school marched next to the float that featured a large globe of the world.

Large Globe With Super Hero
The back of the float featured a large globe with a card-stock cutout of a super hero flying beside it. Note that the back of the float was littered with supplies to keep the students safe and hydrated.

Girls Danced Wearing Identical Outfits
Girls of several ages danced their way up the street all dressed in identical blue and green outfits.

One Of The Girls In The Front Row

A Hula Hooper Followed Dancers
A girl demonstrated great skill at working the hula hoop while marching behind the dancers and ahead of the parents with young children.

Young Boy Sucked A Sucker
A young boy was led along the parade route in the group of parents and young children that followed the hula hooper. He wore a green hat and green cape and sucked on a sucker.
