The Pawtrero 17th Annual Pet Halloween Party occupied the last block of Brannan Street where it ended at the Embarcadero.

Toni's Kitty Rescue had a booth at the fair.

A group of four basset hounds were on display and up for adoption at the fair. Here was one calmly gazing out through the fence at the party beyond.

A booth decorated for Halloween was run by Sojos Real Food For Healthy Pets. They handed out samples of their pet food.

A dog on a leash noticed the camera and turned to watch its photo being taken.

The 7th Annual Pawtrero Hill Pet Halloween Party had many pet related booths. And the people passing by had dogs that ranged from the tiny to the large.

A band was set up on a stage at the top end of the block to entertain the people attending.

One fellow attended the fair with his dog dressed up to look like a purple insect.

In the Halloween spirit, one couple arrived dressed like pirates, and their dog was dressed like a witch.

A huge inflated cat was another feature of the fair. Parents held kids up to it to pet the giant cat.

Dogs were up for adoption. How could you tell? Well each wore an outfit with the words, "Adopt Me," written on it.

Folks gathered to watch the adoptable dogs, even one woman with a dog already.
