A huge metal tree created by the Aurora Leaf Workshop had been assembled and stood on the lawn outside Fiesta Hall.

The branches of this white metal tree were curved over on top and hung down just like a weeping willow tree.

Each branch had dozens of individual copper leaves hung from it.

Individual woven power lines swagged from branch to branch bringing power to the LED lights inside each vertical branch.

An industrial metal folding press was demonstrated to a couple of young boys. Notice the copper leaf locked into the press about to be bent.

A sign on the table described the project and the process of making the leaves. The sign read in part: "Aurora Leaf Workshop. Aurora sheds leaves from time to time just like any other tree. Help us 'grow' some new leaves to replace the ones that have fallen away." A suggested donation of $10 was asked for each folding lesson.

A bowl of raw unfolded copper leaves sat on the table. The individual copper pieces had been heat stained to give them an organic look.
