Airplane Constructed Of Cardboard And Tape

Another exhibit allowed kids to construct their own model airplanes using cardboard, tubing, and tape. Once constructed, the kids could wait in line to have their creation launched from a catapult.

Catapult Used To Launch All Planes

A common catapult was used to launch all constructed planes. This insured that all planes were launched using the same force, thereby allowing them to compete for the longest flight.
