I think the guy on the right, with his back to us (dark jacket & sandals), by the artist entrance is Scott McKenzie with John Phillips behind. Pity there are not more images of Scott McKenzie but the photos overall tell a great story of an historic day in popular music culture.

I believe this is Booker T. during the Otis Redding Set (could be during the MGs set on 6/17.) In either event - this is one of the few photos of Booker from the festival.

Wonderful photos of the Monetery Pop Festival, Bryan! Very informative to an amateur historian like myself. I see that you took many shots onstage the afternoon of Saturday, June 17, and I'm hoping that you have a few of the Electric Flag who played last that day. I host a website dedicated to Michael Bloomfield, and I'd love to see anything you have of them. By the way, the unknown band in the wide-angle shots is the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and I believe Jerry Garcia can be seen walking by in one of your backstage shots. Thanks, David D.
