The Museum On Main contained a collection of furniture from the 1800's. This was the only example of a sofa from that period. Note the wooden trim and how the back fabric did not match the seating fabric.

Here was a large white sofa, decorated with Japanese designed pillows, abstract modern pillows, and one striped pillow. An India cloth covered the seating.

Rounding the corner, a blue sofa was discovered apparently abandoned on the sidewalk. The sofa lacked legs so was too short for comfortable seating.
