Coconut Head Grew Hair
A coconut that lay decomposing on the beach looked like a monk's head with just the bordering hair remaining but no face left.

Old Pump And Plastic Spoon
An abandoned shoe with straps still intact lay among driftwood and stones. Its only companion was a lone plastic spoon. One can understand losing a shoe overboard, but why would anyone discard a plastic spoon into the ocean?

Plastic Bottle Still Filled With Liquid
A plastic bottle had washed up onto the beach and appeared to still be filled with some of its original liquid.

Aged Blue Sandal Sole
The sole of a sandal with its straps long ago vanished lay atop twigs and stones. The surface of this sole had aged into an interesting pattern.

A boot's heel lay partly buried in sand. A hard plastic tab had once been used to attach it to the underside of a boot.

Flip Flop Sole With Hole And Roses

Bare Feet In Sand
Although not technically litter, footprints do spoil the perfect surface of sand. Here the impressions of two bare feet crossed diagonally the wind swept pattern atop the sand.

An PFD (Personal Flotation Device) had washed up on shore. Either someone fell overboard and became dis-attached from his/her PFD, or this PFD was accidently or intentionally tossed overboard.
