Three Stars
Three five-pointed stars decorated the eve of a house just above the second story windows. Although they looked like folded paper, these stars must have been made of plastic or wood to survive outdoors.

In Window
A balloon in the shape of a 5-pointed star leaned against the glass in a furniture store window. One could barely make out the reflection of the photographer on its shiny surface.

Balloon 5 Pointed Stars
Five-pointed star shaped balloons were part of the decor for the San Francisco Police Department contingent. Although not sharply visible, the initials SFPD were printed on each balloon.

Glass 5-Pointed Star In Yard
Walking past this fenced in industrial yard, it was a surprise to find various mirror tiled works of art. A few of them featured five-pointed stars as decorative elements. This one was entirely a star by itself.

Christmas Light 5-Pointed Star
One of the more highly decorated homes seen that evening included a huge Christmas star mounted atop the garage. It was lit blue and did not change color, even though other lights on the house were animated to music.

Fake 5-Pointed "Bat Star"
Inside the bookstore of the visitor center was a hands-on display of tide-pool life. One example was an actual bat star that you could touch under the water. To help identify that bat star, this labeled fake rested on the edge of the tide pool.
