Cut Metal Sculpture On Wall, A Nature Scene, East 8th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon
|
Identifying Plate
An identifying plate was attached to the wall next to the sculpture. Sadly it was so faded with time that it was totally illegible.

Stood Off
The sculpture was stood off from the wall using matching metal pieces. The effect was to make the sculpture seem to float. Even from this distance, deer could be seen near the right hand top.

Flowing River
A flowing river (or perhaps a duck on water) appeared at the extreme left of the sculpture. This end of the sculpture also appeared to represent a person laying on the ground and braced by an elbow on the ground and a hand supporting the head.

Deer Grazed
Deer grazed on the top of the body, with a river winding off and up to the right.

A Crane
A crane took flight of the extended leg of the reclined person. anonymous Mon, 07 Mar 2022 15:54:41 I loved the guided tour of the sculpture. A beautiful work of art I didn't see at first. Thanks.
